## What is pelvic floor rehabilitation?

Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation is a subspecialty of physical therapy that addresses bowel, bladder and sexual dysfunction. The pelvic floor refers to the group of muscles and tissues that connect from the tailbone to the pubic bone and they form an important role in structural support, sphincter control, sexual function and pelvic stability.
